Financial Assistance
Be Your Own Hero, Inc offers families of children with chronic illness financial support. These children face all types of illnesses that require them to be admitted to the hospital for extended periods of time.
Families may request financial assistance up to $500 to pay household bills or $250 for help with travel assistance. Household bills include utilities, water, insurance and phone. We also provide a bereavement fund to help with funeral expenses for families whose warriors have passed away.

Be Your Own Hero, Inc. coordinates donation drives to benefit families who are inpatient at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. We have donated toys, pantry items and laundry detergent so families can have free snacks and can take care of basic needs like washing their clothes.
We also participate in programs that provide dinners to feed the inpatient families on the Cardiac Unit by supporting Feed The Heart and Always In My Heart and the patients and families on the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Unit.
