Brave Like Wyatt, LLC coordinates donation drives to benefit families who are inpatient at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. We have donated toys, pantry items and laundry detergent so families can have free snacks and can take care of basic needs like washing their clothes.
We also participate in monthly dinners to feed the inpatient families on the Cardiac Unit by supporting the Feed The Heart program and the patients and families on the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Unit.
Check out our blog to see past drives & dinners and our calendar of events to see our current need for donations.
Contact Jessica at firstname.lastname@example.org if your school, church or group is interested in coordinating a supply drive!
Brave Like Wyatt, LLC offers families of children listed for pediatric transplants financial support. We also offer families facing long hospital stays whose children are affected by Leukemia or Lymphoma, in particular PTLD.
Families may request financial assistance up to $500 to pay household bills or $250 for help with travel assistance. We also provide a bereavement fund to help with funeral expenses for families whose warriors have passed away.
Please contact Jessica at email@example.com for more information. Assistance is granted based on funds available and coordinated through your hospital social worker.
Besides housing and transportation, food ranks among the three highest expenses for every family budget.
At Brave Like Wyatt we believe that families who have a child in the hospital and who are potentially reduced in income during that time should NEVER worry about how to feed their families. Many of our families have other children at home in addition to their child in the hospital.
While families are inpatient in the hospital we offer a weekly grocery delivery of pantry staples, prep foods for healthy and easy meals, paper goods, baby diapers and formula and items that the families can customize so that they get the things that they need.
